After Submission

  1. TRACK YOUR APPLICATION

    • After the submission of the application, each card application is transferred to the National Identification Office (N.I.O.) for processing and decision making;
    • You can track your application in order to check if your application is processed, hence ready for collection at the Resident Card Application center;
    • To track your application, you need the reference number mentioned on the receipt that was handed over to you when submitting your application.

  2. COLLECT YOUR RESIDENT CARD

    When the VFS Application center receives your , you will receive automatically:

    • An e-mail
    • And, if you opted for this service, an SMS at the cellphone number provided.

    If you have opted for the return of your resident card by courier, your envelope will be sent to you directly to the address you indicated

    If you have not opted for the courier service, you can:

    • Either collect the resident card yourself by presenting your payment receipt and an official ID document;
    • Or collect it via a representative.
    • Application collection Monday to Friday
    • Monday to Friday
    • From 14:00 until 16:00

    For application collection , the applicant must present:

    • A proof of identification;
    • The payment receipt handed over by the Centre on the submission day.

    To retrieve the envelope containing the processed resident card , the applicant’s representative must present:

    • A copy of his proof of identification;
    • The payment receipt handed over by the Application center.
    • A letter of authorization signed by the applicant
  3. IN CASE OF APPLICATION DENIAL

    The decision to refuse or grant resident cards is taken by the National Identification Office.

    In case of refusal, the Application Center :

    • Cannot provide any explanation;
    • Is not allowed to forward appeal for refusal to the N.I.O. Authority.
